This is the first cellar door release from Craft Works Distillery. It is a fascinating Independent bottling and made with matured whisky from Riverbourne Distillery. In its early years it was matured in an ex Red Wine American/French Oak cask and then finished in an ex-bourbon cask.

This whisky still has the Riverbourne DNA which you would expect and then a spectrum of flavours from the change of bourbon casks.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Burnished Gold

Nose: Toffee, subtle eucalyptus and some heat. Oak starts slowly emerges in.

Palate: Vanilla and spice open the flavour. Some mild sandalwood seeps in with a low note of cola. The Oak starts to build.

Finish: Medium warm finish with the reverberation of clove.
