Rage is an interesting Independent Bottling released from Craft Works Distillery. It is made with spirit from an undisclosed NSW Distillery and matured in a Tasmanian Pinot Noir cask.

You get a very perfume nose as you would expect from a Pinot Noir cask, with a combination of fruity flavours and some spice. It is prepared at Cask Strength (59.8% ABV) and gives a robust flavour.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Red Gold.

Nose: Very aromatic nose (when opened) which is warming. Sweetness and spice shunts in, with an undertone of nail polish.

Palate: Burnt Sugar and cherries. Fruity flavour continues with raspberry and emerging spice of Nutmeg.

Finish: Medium warm finish, with juicy fruit and spice dropping off.
