Release 3 of the Capertee from Craft Works Distillery, continues with more experimentation in casks. This was intended as a Cellar Door release, but we have a few bottles for you to try.

It is a multi-cask vatting of an ex-bourbon and ex-chardonnay barrels. It brings a semi-dry style of whisky with good levels of sweetness and spice.

This is an independent bottling from an undisclosed distillery in NSW.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Gold 

Nose: Old leather with aroma of burnt caramel.

Palate: Honey flavour with spice of clove.

Finish: Medium sweet finish with an undertone of spice
