This is the first release of whisky from Newcastle Distillery. This bottle pays homage to the the owners Grandfather and comes lightly peated. It has been made with 10% imported peated malt from Scotland and the remainder from Voyager Malt in NSW. 

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Dark Gold

Nose: Christmas cake, burnt sugar and subtle smoke

Palate: Juicy flavours of candy and stewed fruit. Small amounts of coal and smoke.

Finish: Warming finish with light peat and sweetness.
