The Sparrow Jack Original is Rum which is reminiscent of a commercial styled spiced rum, but hand crafted by Newcastle Distilling Co. This has been made with AustralianĀ treacle and matured in Port Barrels. This process gives it a rich flavour, which remains versatile to drink neat or to mix.Ā

Colour:Ā Dark Gold
Nose:Ā Rich nose with sweet caramel and then rich Christmas spices awaken the senses.
Palate:Ā Equal flavours of spice and sweetness swirl in your mouth. Toffee, Nutmeg, Cinnamon and sugar syrup add to the complexity.
Ā Finish:Ā Medium finish which slowly fades with spice and sweetness.
