This Rum is the first release from Newcastle Distillery. It is a heavy hitter at 60% ABV, but keeps a good balance of sweetness in the flavour. This is made from its base of sugar and the maturing in the 100L Port Cask.

The name of this Rum is derived from early days of the owner when he was with his Grandfather and was allowed to name the new boat. He decided to call it 'Eagle One.'

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Light Tawny

Nose: Toffee, stewed fruits and some spirit in the back aromas.

Palate: Sugar syrup, burnt caramel, with a warm taste

Finish: Warming finish with dominating sweetness, followed by black pepper.
